Assam CEE 2019 (Assam Combined Entrance Exam) – Exam Date, Application Form, Syllabus
Assam CEE 2019: Assam Combined Entrance Examination the (Assam-CEE) is a state-government controlled centralized entrance examination, conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into the 5 premier government engineering colleges in Assam. The test is taken after the 12th grade for admission to graduation (also known as Bachelors) courses. The Assam CEE exam can be taken by those who studied Pure Science stream in plus two level with the specific subjects tested in the examination, which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Every year approximately 25,000 people take the examination, and it is increasing. Students of both Assam Higher Secondary Education Council and the central Central Board of Secondary Education board take the test. Formally the Assam CEE examination was conducted by Dibrugarh University.
Assam CEE 2019 Exam: Instructions
Students are required to read the instructions carefully before filling the online application form. The application form will be filled online. Assam CEE 2019 Exam Application form will be available from the third week of April 2019. Last date of submission of application form will be the first week of May 2019. Students are suggested to submit the completely filled application form. Candidates must keep ready the Valid email ID and mobile number, Details of Class XII or equivalent examination, Scanned copy of passport sized photograph, Scanned copy of candidate’s signature and Details of net banking, debit/ credit card.
Assam CEE 2019 Exam: About
Assam CEE 2019 is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam. It provides admission to various undergraduate engineering programs in member institutions. It will be held offline in the first week of June 2019. A form of Assam CEE 2019 exam will be available online from the third week of April to the first week of May 2019. Candidates appearing in the exam must have qualified the qualifying examination with 50% (45% for SC and 40% for ST candidates). The question paper will have 120 questions of Multiple Choice with 40 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics which have to be answered in 3 hours. The result will be declared in the second week of June 2019. Those who qualified for the Assam CEE 2019 exam will be called for Counselling from the fourth week of June 2019.

Assam CEE 2019 Exam: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be from Indian origin.
The candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam. It is compulsory to spend a minimum of 20 years in the Assam state.
Officer’s children of all India services working in the state of Assam are exempted from the above-mentioned condition.
Officer’s children should have studied 7th class to 12th class from the Assam board.
Age of the candidate will lie between 17 to 24 years as on 31st December 2018.
Relaxation in age for reserved categories.
For Engineering Courses:
Applying candidates must appear in the 12th or equivalent from recognized board/university.
Candidates must have qualified the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
Candidate must have scored 50% marks (45% for SC and 40% for ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.
For BAMS/BHMS Courses:
Applicants should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam.
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English should be there as a subject.
Candidate must have scored 50% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.
Assam CEE 2019 Exam: Application Form
Assam CEE 2019: University provides the admission related information on the official website and also in the local newspapers. Candidates can fill the application form through online mode. Candidates need to register themselves by filling all the details. After that candidate can log in to the website with application number/username and password. Candidates have to upload the recent color passport size photograph of maximum size 35KB and minimum is 20KB. No need to send a copy of the application form to the university.
Assam CEE 2019 Exam: Application Fee
Application fee can be paid via net banking or debit/ credit card.
The application fee can also be paid at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). This can be done by selecting the ‘Pay at SBI Branch’ option and printing the generated Bank Challan.
After submitting an Assam CEE 2019 online application form, the candidate has to take a print out of Challan. The Challan can be deposited in any branch of the State Bank of India along with application fees of Rs.600/-. The candidate should keep his/her copy of Challan after depositing the requisite fee.

Duration : 3 hours
Number of Question: 120 questions of Multiple Choice types
Marking Scheme: One mark for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer.
Assam CEE 2019 Exam: Syllabus
Syllabus of Assam CEE will be based on Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or NCERT. Candidates can study these subjects through NCERT textbook.
