KCET 2019:

Karnataka CET 2019 is a State Level entrance exam conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examinstion Authority). KCET 2019 shall be held in First or Second week of May 2019. It offers admission to candidates to UG courses like Mdical, Engineering Pharmacy etc. Admission in these courses are offered in the Government/University/Private Aided/Private Un-Aided Educational Institutions in Karnataka. Application process will be completed only through online mode.

On the basis of KCET 2019 score, aspirants are offered admission in programs like – BE/B.Tech, B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons.) Sericulture, B.Sc (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc (Hons.) Forestry, B.Sc. Agri BioTech, B.HSc. (Home Science), B.Tech (Agri. Engg), B.Tech (Food Techno), B.Tech (Dairy Tech), B.F.Sc (Fisheries), B.Tech (Food Science & Tech), B.Sc. (Hons) Agri. KCET 2019: Important Dates

KEA (Karnataka Examinstion Authority) has not yet announced the dates regarding KCET 2019. Expected schedule for KCET is mentioned below. Following dates are prepared on the basis of last year’s information:-

KCET 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants are required to proceed to register only after verifying the KCET 2019 Eligibility.

1. Aspirant should be of Indian National.
2. Aspirant should fulfill following criteria
3. Aspirants whose 2nd PUC/12th class result is awaited can apply and appear for KCET 2019.

BE/B.Tech – Candidate should have passed in PUC/12th/Equivalent Exam with Physics and Mathematics as conpulsory and Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer Science as optional subjects with English as one language of study 1. Should have scored aggregate of 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics alongwith Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer (General Category)
2. 40% marks (for SC/ST, Cat-1, OBC 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B category)
Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry course C – Candidate should have passed in 2nd PUC/12th with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English. 1. Should have scored aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English (General Category)
2. 40% marks (for SC/ST, Cat-1, OBC 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B category)
B-Pharma – Candidate should have passed in 2nd (PUC)/12th with Physics, Biology, Chemistry or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Passed in D-Pharma from any approved institution by Pharmacy Council of India
1. Sould have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (General category)
2. 40% marks (for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category)
1. Should have scored 45% marks in Diploma exam (General Category)
2. 40% marks (for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A a+G2+G3:H7+G2:H7+G3:H7

KCET 2019: Application Form

Registration for KCET 2019 will start online at the website, kea.kar.nic.in. Application form printed will not be provided or submitted. Aspirants are required to first download the blank application form and fill with the help of parents/teachers/guardians etc. By this process, candidates will become familiarise with he details to be entered in Online Application Form.

Online application process will be completed in two phases –
In First phase, candidate will fill all details and can edit the data any number of times and also can take its draft printout before selecting declaration.
In Second phase, candiate have to select the declaration after confirming that there are no changes to be further done. Once declaration done, candidates will not be allowed to change /edit/delete/add any information in KCET 2019 Online Application Form.

The candidate may pay the Application Fee by Challan.

KCET 2019: Exam Pattern

KCET 2019 will be conducted in several places across Karnataka. Exam will be based on pen-paper mode consisting on MCQ type of questions. Exam will be held on two days in four different sessions for four subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology and Kannada Language Test. Each paper will be for 60 marks except for Kannada Language Test.

1. One marks for every correct answer.
2. No Negative Marking for any incorrect answer.
