JEE exam – How tough is it?

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is one of the toughest engineering entrance exams in the world. It is conducted for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, and other technical institutions.

JEE is challenging because its questions are designed to test your knowledge of concepts in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. It requires original thinking for solving an innovative problem that too under pressure.

The JEE exam tests your ability to manage time, during the exam where you need to work quickly and efficiently in a set time. A student has to be diligent to cover the vast syllabus for physics, chemistry, and mathematics, take enough practice tests to identify areas of weakness and concentrate on those topics for extra revision which they find difficult. Aspirants have to secure a really good rank to be eligible for a good seat and this makes the JEE more competitive. Of course, self-belief and an ability to work towards this goal are also equally important.
