Taking breaks while studying is very essential. However, if breaks not taken properly, it can prove to be anti-productive.
Before taking breaks, you first have to understand the purpose of taking it. Breaks should be taken purposefully. It prevents you from getting saturated and regains your focus. It helps you rethink and get back to work stronger. You should only take a break when you feel you are tired and saturated.
If you are taking a break because you are tired, you should spend the break on relaxing, meditating and eating food rather than on social media. If you are taking the break because you feel something is not working right, then you should spend time rethinking during your break time.
In break time, you should relax, rethink, eat your favourite food, drink water, meditate, enjoy music etc but that too should not be so long. Fix it only for 5-10 minutes.
