JEE exams have been highly competitive and yet you seem to be anxious to crack it. According to me, only two things make revision time tough – One is the stress of the approaching exam date and the next is a large amount of information to grasp in such a short period of time. Cracking such a tough exam depends on both physical and psychological preparations.
Hard work is the main requirement but working smartly can result amazing. The long hour’s continuous study makes us tired and the productivity takes a great hit after a while. You start taking more time to finish simpler tasks. This can be dealt better by keeping the study sessions for a shorter duration. Take short breaks while doing preparations.
The body needs proper and sufficient rest. Take at least 7 hours sleep. This will refresh your mind and body. Studying for exams exhaust you mentally. For this, your body requires nutrition to rejuvenate. Eat healthily, drink plenty of water and avoid getting muscle cramps.
Solve previous years question paper as much as you can. It will help you get an idea about the level of the papers and manage time effectively. Most importantly, you get used to of negative marking and how to minimize its effect.
Mock Tests play a great role to let you know where you stand, the subjects you need to give extra attention and how well you handle the pressure. Don’t feel low if the test doesn’t go well. Work of weak areas.
Whenever you feel nervous, just remember that it’s just an exam. Keep your mind calm. Key to crack JEE Main or JEE Advanced is to work well under pressure.
